we just finished this

halloween set up today

and up on that wall

to the right

the lower hexagon

completely stitched by me

the other items

by my friends crystal and helen

don't you love

 the inclusion of

purple in halloween

i sure do

blessed by backing...

it was late

very late

in the evening

.

i just finished piecing

the border around the acorn

it was becoming a cute wall hanging

for the upcoming fall season

a rich combination of colors

reminding me of my

favorite season in ohio

but where was the backing

i did not seem to have

enough yardage to

complete the project

i hate being in that situation

in the middle of the night

then i remembered

i do have keys

to a store

with fabric

how lucky i thought

and how very truly blessed

it still hasn't totally

sunk in

i now own bolts

not just a stash

with cuts and pieces

not exactly notions...

i spotted

this pile

as i was leaving...

.

our store today

it belongs to the painter

at first glance

seemed to be a mess

over in the corner

upon closer inspection

i realize it

is a neat pile

of miscellaneous treasure

each item needed

for some specific task

to complete

the job

not exactly notions

yet

just like my sewing room

a collection of stuff

to have just the perfect tool

at just the right time

fabulous fandango...

it used to be

i was elated

when a box...

...arrived

with one charm pack

one jelly roll

and maybe a layer cake too

now

i am loudly screaming

and jumping for joy

as a box full of

fandango

arrives on my doorstep

and 24 charm packs

why so many

oh that is a little secret

but it involves

door prizes

during grand opening week

looking for loire

when i stumbled upon them

perfect to display threads

i decided

in the kitchen of our new house

one small request...

would the two bidders on eBay...

...trying to snatch this machine

kindly step aside

and let my bid stay in the lead

please...

this auction is ending

when i will

be driving home on the turnpike

from the great lakes regional fabric show

so i won't be able to bid again

...and i really need it

for my new house of fabric
